CLQ 3471 C37/CS: Indigenous World History

This course addresses the complex definitions of “Indigenous Peoples” in a variety of global areas ranging from the present-day Americas, Asia, Oceana, Pacific Islands, Africa, and the Middle East. Critical analysis of colonialism, postcolonialism, and decolonization will show how indigenous peoples have persisted, and why ancient knowledge matters in the modern world.
