The expression of religious belief is explored via brief overview lecture and experiential learning opportunities through visits to faith communities and visits from guest speakers. This format serves as the basis for discussions focused on practices, traditions, and the communal structures of religion with further emphasis and analysis applied to each religion by comparing the religion-as-founded to the religion-as-practiced.
