CLQ 3341 C24/PH: Thinking for a Change

This course will explore the hypothesis that education is integral to democracy by examining philosophies that challenge traditional hierarchies and offering new paradigms where power/knowledge is shared and democracy is realized. Study will include John Dewey's Democracy and Education and Paolo Freire's Pedagogy of the Oppressed. Corequisite: CLQ 3342
