OCTA5353 Adaptive Techniques in Adulthood

Students will explore how the non-human environment impacts sensory processing, cognitive functioning, perception, interpersonal processes and functional mobility, and how environmental adaptations and assistive technologies help to compensate for disability and enhance functional performance. Dynamic and static splinting fabrication will be covered.
