EDUC5014 Conceptualizing Elementary Mathematics Learning and Diversity in Context

This course will examine math concepts, theories, and research that support advancement of teaching math in the P-5 classroom. Students will analyze their own teaching practice, investigate equity in math and the impact of culture, and generate research-based professional resources.  This course will also explore how to effectively use student performance data to identify and guide all instructional decisions.
