OCTA5220 Occupation Based Practice: Psychosocial Practice

This course involves the study of psychiatric diagnoses, and relevant interventions including psychopharmacology, commonly requiring occupational therapy intervention. Relevant theories, models and frames of reference associated with psychosocial practice are discussed and applied. Application of psychosocial theory and treatment through problem-based learning and 30 hours of level I fieldwork in a clinical setting.
