FYS 1116 RUSSIA/N FOR BEGINNERS

Introduction to the Russian language and global Russophone cultures through a variety of materials. Students will acquire basic vocabulary, grammar, and cultural knowledge, applying these skills to everyday situations to express themselves verbally and in writing. Through readings and writings in English, students will acquire understanding of the diverse meanings of Russia/n in global contexts.
