FYS 1108 EXPLORING THE SCIENCE OF LIFE

An exploration into the science of how animals navigate constantly changing environments while maintaining physiological stability. Students will work with scientific literature and various biological model systems to investigate the impact of small environmental changes on physiology, and the different physiological mechanisms animals utilize to recognize and respond to these changes.

This course is designed for students intending to major in Biological Sciences (or a related major), and replaces the Bio120 requirement.
