SLP 524 Voice Assess/Intervention

Students examine anatomical, physiological, and communicative foundations of voice disorders and alaryngeal speech following laryngectomy. The course emphasizes evidence-based assessment and intervention, along with clinical, cultural, and systemic factors that shape access to voice care. Students develop a framework for supporting diverse individuals through equitable, person-centered voice and alaryngeal rehabilitation. Prerequisite: SLP-504
