SLP 520 Adult Dysphagia

Students explore the nature and consequences of adult dysphagia through study of swallowing physiology, clinical reasoning, and broader factors that shape safe and equitable care. The course emphasizes evidence-based assessment and intervention, interprofessional collaboration, and culturally responsive decision-making to support individuals with complex medical, psychosocial, and end of life needs.
