SLP 512 Pediatric Speech Sound Diff
Students examine phonological and motor speech disorders through study of speech sound development, error patterns, and underlying cognitive-linguistic processes. The course emphasizes culturally responsive assessment, differential diagnosis, and evidence-based intervention. Through analysis of speech samples, students develop the clinical reasoning skills needed to support children with speech sound disorders. Prerequisite: Admission to the program.
