CLQ 3391 C29/PH: What Does It Mean to be Human?

This Service-Learning course explores the perennial philosophical question, “what does it mean to be human?” through a variety of perspectives. We will consider individual and collective moral development in light of our evolutionary heritage and cross-cultural attempts to widen humanity’s circle of empathic concern through the “Global Village” project. Corequisite: CLQ 3390.
