Career Placement Services

Washington Technology University is committed to helping students reach their career goals. Through the University’s Career Advising Center, students have access to a range of complimentary services and resources. These resources have been selected to assist students in preparing for future professional positions. Although the intent is to actively engage students in the career-development process, participation in career-development activities and/or completion of any Washington Technology University program, does not guarantee a student will find employment after graduation.

Career Planning

The University’s Career Advising Center provides the opportunity for students to assess their career interests and explore the major programs and career fields that are best suited to their individual strengths through counseling, and career information resources.

Internships and Placement

Internships enable students to acquire “hands-on” experience related to their degree, increase their marketability for future job opportunities, and enhance their preparation for graduate and professional programs. Internship opportunities may be available locally, regionally, and nationally.

The University’s Career Advising Center offers students and alumni assistance with their internship and job search. Faculty and staff at WTU offer assistance with resume and cover letter writing, interview preparation, and a variety of job search strategies.
