Library Resources

Washington Technology University’s library is largely digital, providing access - whenever and wherever students are learning - to the resources selected by faculty and librarians to meet program requirements.

Carefully selected e-textbooks are provided within each of the the 18 course syllabi and are delivered via Moodle - WTU’s Learning Management System. Physical copies of these resources are available on campus for use by students.

Additionally, through Moodle, students have access to a substantial virtual library that provides them with up-to-date e-books, scholarly articles, and journals.  As Washington Technology University offers courses leading to a Bachelor of Science in Information Security, the emphasis in the ‘WTU Virtual Library’ is on computer science and technology. Access for students and faculty is provided to the full resources of:

The ACM Digital Library
Association of Computing Machinery journals, magazines, and conference proceedings

Skillsoft (Books 24x7)
Engineering and computer science related books

The LMS further includes a resource for students that provides guidance on the appropriate use of resources in academic writi

Personalized research support is available to students when they are present on campus.
