Admission Requirements

Proof of Graduation from Accredited High School or GED certificate of completion

Students applying for admission to WTU’s degree-completion programs are expected to have made significant progress toward completion of Washington state’s general education requirements at the time of admission. These general education requirements are part of an associate or bachelor’s degree, and up to 55 credits (may be transferred in. Deficiencies up to 15 credits, however, will not preclude admission to WTU.

Transfer Admission

When considering a transfer applicant, the Office of the Registrar looks for documentation that the student's prior academic experiences will provide an adequate foundation for success in college-level coursework taken at WTU. The most important factor considered is the applicant's previous academic record, as evidenced by official college transcripts. For information about transcripts and supporting documentation for students who completed all - or part - of their prior study abroad, see Transfer Policies.
