English Minor
The English Department welcomes both majors and minors. Like majors, minors will be assigned their own advisor to guide them in completing the minor and fulfilling their goals in English.
Requirements
The minor consists of a minimum of five classes: ENG 150, ENG 250, and three other courses.
Of the three other courses, no more than one can be at the 200 level; no more than one course can be in creative writing; none can be at the 100 level. At least one of them must be in literature before the twentieth century.
