OCC 10200 Clinical Conditions and their Impact on Occupation, Health and Wellness

Students learn the medical aspects of typical, clinical conditions seen in Occupational Therapy and investigate how such conditions impact an individual’s ability to pursue daily occupations. This includes discussions on non-medical considerations such as demographic, environment, proactive health management and the impact of occupations on well-being. Further, the course includes a fieldwork experience component which exposes students to occupational therapy’s role in treating, managing and preventing clinical conditions.
