A student majoring in Philosophy must successfully complete, with a grade of C or better, a minimum of eleven courses.

Any Philosophy course not taken to satisfy a requirement for the major may count as an elective.

Only one of these electives may be at the 1000-level.

Students may choose to take 1-2 of the four electives from the following list of courses from outside the department, or other appropriate courses with prior approval of the Philosophy faculty and Division Chair.
