Continuing Education
Generally, there are no examinations required for courses within Continuing Education. However, it is recommended that you inquire about prerequisites or placement requirements before enrolling in a course. Continuing Education courses are offered as short non-credit courses. However, there are some courses that will award CEUs (Continuing Education Units) upon successful participation or completion of a course. CEUs indicate a measure of substantive professional education and training. A CEU is defined as ten (10) contact hours of successful participation/completion in an organized continuing education experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction and qualified instruction.
