Basic Skills Pre-Requisites
In addition to utilizing assessment results for placement into various levels of Reading, English and Mathematics, Laredo College requires minimum basic skills for entry into most courses.
A student may not enroll in any college-level course without meeting minimum entrance levels or completing a developmental sequence(s) for that respective area with the exception of appropriate Non Course Based Option courses and Paired courses. Students may only register for those courses in which they have met all basic skills pre-requisites as determined by the Instructional Division.
