CSD 310 Anatomy & Physiology for SLPs

Students learn the anatomy and physiology of speech and hearing mechanisms, including skeletal, neurological, and muscular systems for respiration, phonation, articulation, resonation, mastication, deglutition, and hearing. The course emphasizes typical and disordered communication, preparing students to understand anatomical relevance in interdisciplinary assessment and intervention. Pre-requisites: LS-160 and 12 semester hours of credit at the 200-level or higher.
