CSD 301 Language & Comm Science
Students will learn the components of language science structure and their role in communication and literacy development. Topics include typical and atypical development, cultural, linguistic, and social impact, and the speech-language pathologist's role in assessment and intervention. Emphasis is placed on clinical decision-making and evidence-based, person-centered care. Pre-requisites:
LS-160 and 12 semester hours of credit at the 200-level or higher.
