BUSN 430 Managing Innovation

This course introduces students to various models, processes and concepts associated with innovation.  Specifically, the course examines techniques, methods and tools used to encourage and promote an innovative and creative culture.  Student will learn how to develop innovation programs, develop personal growth plans, and encourage organizational leaders that advocate innovation though training programs used to help employees exploit their own creativity.  Capitalizing and monetizing innovation will also be discussed.

Prerequisite

10 credits 100/200-level English, 15 credits 100/200-level Math, 10 credits 100/200 level Business, 15 credits of 100/200-level Accounting or ECON
