POLS 203: Introduction to American Government (3)
This course examines the principles on which the American government is based, the history of the United States government, and the role that the American government and politics play in the lives of people residing in the United States. The course examines the executive, legislative, and judicial branches as well as the role of political parties, interest groups, and the media in developing public policy. POLS 390: Variable Topics: Readings in Political Thought (3)
This is a variable topics course that can be taken as a history or political science course. The focus of the course will rotate between ancient political thought, political thought and the Age of Enlightenment, and political thought in American History.
