EDUC 390 Special Needs in an Inclusive Environment

An introductory course designed to recognize students with special needs. The public laws and litigation related to the educational needs of students with special needs will be reviewed.  Course content includes diagnostic techniques, observational skills, curricula adjustments and use of appropriate instructional strategies.  There will be practical application with respect to modifications of lessons, assignments and tests.
