CLQ 3411 C31/EN: Russian Revolution in Literature

Using the great Russian writers of the time as a guide, this course will examine the social and economic issues that led to the Russian Revolution and twentieth century totalitarianism as exemplified by the triumph of Bolshevism, the rise of Stalinism, the Cold War and the fall of the Soviet Union. Corequisite: CLQ 3410.
