CLQ 3371 C27/MU: Roots to Rock:American Music & Art

American Music-Roots to Rock (1860s-1960s) is a survey course that journeys over American history commencing post Antebellum and ends at the apex of the 60's Cultural Revolution. Students listen, sing and analyze their way through American music forms: blues, jazz, musical, Big Band, Rock and Roll, Protest Folk, R & B and 60's Rock. Corequisite: CLQ 3370.
