CLQ 3060 HO/EN: American Me: ALANA Writing

This course examines changing theories of selfhood, identity, and individuality as they were experienced by ALANA Americans (Asian, Latino, African, and Native American). Class focus is on the range of autobiographical writings (letter, speech, memoir, slave narrative, travel writing, autobiography, etc.) literature, and how historical experience shapes those writings.
