BINT 3331 International Business Management

This course offers perspectives about the practice of management in the global context. It is divided into three parts. The first part introduces and evaluate the institutions of global business such as formal government institutions, informal cultural institutions and intergovernmental institutions that facilitate international trade (e.g., international monetary systems and trade institutions). The second part evaluates global strategy issues including entry mode decisions and organizational structure in the global context. The third part of the course assesses the execution of firm functional operations including international marketing, global supply chain management, human resources management and managing corporate social responsibility in the global arena.
