OMED 8426 Medical Humanities Elective Clerkship
This four-week experience is designed to provide experiential learning in medical humanities. As such, it engages students in that interdisciplinary field that uses the humanities’ methods of inquiry to examine, improve, and critique the practice of medicine. The principal focus of the course will be on narrative issues related to medicine and will include close reading of fiction, non-fiction, poetry, film analysis, and memoir-writing.
