OMED 8432 Obstetrics & Gynecology Sub-Internship Elective Clerkship
This four-week experience is designed to provide learning in obstetrics & gynecology (Ob-Gyn) under supervision, with exposure to commonly encountered cases in Ob-Gyn in hospital, inpatient, and outpatient settings. The student should be given duties that are typical of an intern. The goal is to prepare students for an Ob-Gyn residency. To accomplish this, the rotation provides broad exposure to both acute and chronic problems, experience in appropriate consultations, diagnostic testing, patient education, and other procedures.
