SOWO 40583 Developmental Disabilities
This course will cover factors that cause and contribute to developmental disabilities (DD) such as Down syndrome and autism, development trajectories of individuals with DD (from birth to old age), contextual influences (family, community, school) on wellbeing of individuals with DD, and policy and programs designed to support persons with DD.
