SOWO 30883 Micro Social Work Practice
Prerequisites: SOWO 10833 or permission of instructor. Students will learn how to conduct an initial client interview. Skill areas include informed consent, gathering data, motivation and rapport, assessment, goal setting, and referrals and resources. Knowledge, values, and skills taught in this course align with the generalist practice approach.
