SOWO 10833 Introduction to Social Work
Students will learn about the social work profession, critically explore a variety of social problems, and review how social workers seek to address these problems. Topics include the history of social work, careers in social work, and advocacy efforts at the micro, mezzo, and macro levels of social work practice.
