SOWO 30863 Social Welfare Policy
Prerequisites: SOWO 10833 or permission of instructor. This course focuses on understanding particular historical and current social policies and issues affecting the development of social welfare services and the relationships between basic societal values and social welfare services. The course will also examine the impact policy has on social and economic justice, diverse groups, and marginalized populations.
