MUSI 30042 Fundamentals of Voice Pedagogy for Music Educators
Prerequisites: Upper division standing (junior or senior) in vocal music education or permission from instructor. This course is an introduction to vocal pedagogy and voice science. Topics will include anatomy and physiology of the vocal mechanism, diagnosis and correction of vocal faults, acoustics, and technology in the classroom. Supplemental seminars will provide practical experience with audio recording concepts and technologies.
