MUSI 30352 Fundamentals of Digital Recording
Prerequisites: Sophomore Level. Any major. An investigation of basic and electronic audio concepts, psychoacoustics, digital audio recording techniques, and synthesis. Projects are produced with student owned computers utilizing microphones, connectors and interfaces provided by the university. Students will demonstrate understanding of recording apparatus including, microphones, digital audio workstations, editing software, audio mixers and MIDI controllers.
