GSM 551 Principled Leadership
Principled leaders must ensure that they and their organizations contribute in a meaningful way to building a vibrant, prosperous, and sustainable society. This is the leadership required for humanity to survive and thrive in the 21st century. In this highly experiential course, students will explore contemporary leadership concepts and models, and apply theory to practice in the classroom and the community. The learning approach will involve active engagement in discussion groups, exercises and leadership projects, with highlights including special guest speakers and opportunities for involvement in Boston-based initiatives. The blended nature of the course will balance face-to-face and online sessions to optimize learning while making the course accessible and convenient. This elective fulfills MBA requirements for both Leadership and CSR concentrations.
