Pasco-Hernando State College Foundation, Inc

The Pasco-Hernando State College Foundation, Inc. was established in 1975 to seek private support to enhance the College's educational programs. A 501(c)3 charitable organization, it is governed by a volunteer elected Board of Directors from Pasco and Hernando counties, and dedicated to serving the direct needs of students and increasing access to affordable quality education at PHSC.

The PHSC Foundation exists because local students need to be empowered to have the confidence and skills to change their worlds. PHSC provides intentionally developed programs to meet the needs of each individual and our community so that the lives of graduates become more purposeful, and our community's quality of life is enhanced.

The Foundation transforms the lives of students, faculty, and staff by providing support for scholarships, salaries, library resources, faculty and staff development, facilities, student recruitment and retention, academic programs, and technology. For the cultural and social enrichment of the community, the Foundation sponsors a Performing Arts Series.

Through the Foundation's more than 200 named endowed scholarships and numerous annual scholarships, more than 1,000 scholarships are awarded each year to local students. Students interested in scholarships should apply online.
