Welcome to Pasco-Hernando State College

As Pasco-Hernando State College’s fourth president, I am honored to build upon the College's impressive legacy. Now beginning our 50th year of service, PHSC’s rapid growth and expansion reflects the high quality of instruction, programs and services offered, distinguishing us as among the most progressive and affordable colleges in the nation.

PHSC continuously aspires to excellence, implementing innovative practices to meet the academic interests of our students and the workforce needs of our growing regional economy. Our Associate in Arts degree, which is fully transferrable to the State University System, our more than 90 workforce programs and our two baccalaureate degrees are popular choices offered at tuition that is among the most cost-efficient in the state. With the guidance of our District Board of Trustees, PHSC’s dedicated faculty, staff and administrators work collaboratively to provide students with the highest quality of academic, co-curricular, cultural, and collegiate experiences. A variety of PHSC programs and services help our students succeed, including career and educational assessments that provide academic guidance and information relating to future employment opportunities.

Our open door policy provides for a rich and diverse student population and a dynamic classroom experience. Instructors, tutoring services, academic advisors and other resources can assist you if you feel unsure of your career direction, struggle academically or simply need a helping hand.

At PHSC, students have many opportunities to reach their full potential. Our more than 50 clubs and organizations promote leadership development, support career-oriented interests, provide exciting intramural activities and encourage community involvement. Many research studies demonstrate that students actively engaged in collegiate life are happier and more likely to complete college successfully. Please get involved, stay connected, build friendships and remain on course to complete your program of study.
