IDS180 Facing Disasters: Mass Casualty and High-Impact Incidents
This course is designed to prepare students to understand the complexity and multi-faceted approach in responding to mass casualty and high-impact incidents such as the earthquake in Haiti or attacks of 9/11, addressing the questions raised regarding the effectiveness of the response. Students will gain valuable tools enabling them to provide specific crisis intervention sevices. Fulfills liberal arts, behavioral science, social science, humanities, and open electives.
