Students may substitute private lessons for MUA 1003 or MUA 1004 (Voice Classes) and/or MUA 1009 and MUA 1010 (Piano Classes).

A total of 8 credits of Applied Voice and 2 credits of Applied Piano are required for the major.

Students pursuing the B.F.A. in Musical Theatre must have a minimum of 30 liberal arts credits.
