Chemistry Honors & Distinction

The requirements for Honors in Chemistry ordinarily are a grade of B or better in each of the required Chemistry courses for the major program.

The requirements for Distinction in Chemistry ordinarily are a cumulative GPA of 3.0 in Chemistry coursework. 

The final decision about Honors and Distinction is made by a vote of the Chemistry faculty after a discussion of the student's record.
