Course Description

Clinical - Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse A health-related work-based learning experience that enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory, skills, and concepts. Direct supervision is provided by the clinical professional. Emphasis on the role of the nurse in clinical decision making using the nursing process and common medical-surgical and maternal/child nursing skills. Builds on Level I skills and concepts of caring, communication, competence, and clinical decision making. Concurrent: RNSG 1412 and 1441. Assessment Levels: R3, E3, M3.
