Course Description

HEALTH CARE CONCEPTS III (4-4-5) 51.3801 In-depth coverage of health care concepts with nursing application through selected exemplars. Concepts include cellular regulation, end of life, immunity, interpersonal relationships, grief, human development, intracranial regulation, mood/affect, comfort, sexuality, mobility, and reproduction. Provides continuing opportunities for development of clinical judgment skills. This course lends itself to concept-based approach. Prerequisites: BIOL 2420, SPCH 1311 or SPCH 1315 or SPCH 1321, RNSG 1126, RNSG 1533 and RNSG 2362. Corequisite/Concurrent: Phil 2306, RNSG 1137 and RNSG 2363. Prerequisites (Transition Students): SPCH 1311 or SPCH 1315 or SPCH 1321, RNSG 1118, RNSG 1324. Corequisities/Concurrent (Transition Students) BIOL 2420, PHIL 2306, RNSG 1137 and RNSG 1262.
