Course Description

PHARMACOLOGY Introduction to the science of pharmacology with emphasis on the actions, interactions, adverse effects, and nursing implications of drug classifications. Content includes the roles and responsibilities of the nurse in safe administration of medications within a legal/ethical framework. Pre-requisites: BIOL 2402 Pre-requisite or concurrent: HPRS 1106 and 1204. Assessment Levels: R3, E3, M3.
