OMED 8201 Aerospace Medicine Elective Clerkship
The purpose of this two-week experience is to provide the learner with exposure to commonly encountered aerospace medicine cases in an ambulatory outpatient setting and with exposure to common aerospace medicine preventive and occupational duties. To accomplish this, the elective clerkship provides broad exposure to both chronic and acute problems, experience in appropriate consultation, diagnostic testing, patient education, shop visits, and public health visits as appropriate for the practitioner.
