BIOL 4372 Immunology

The course is designed to study the molecular and cellular interactions and principals of the human immune system.  Topics include immune system development, humoral and cell mediated immunity, immunodeficiency, autoimmunity, immune response to infectious agents and disease and treatments involving immunizations.

Prerequisite

(BIOL 2322 AND BIOL 2122) OR (BIOL 3311) OR (BIOL 3471 OR BIOL 3471L). Foundational knowledge of human anatomy and physiology along with understanding of cellular and molecular processes of disease causing microbes is necessary for successful completion of this course.
