HPW 24600 Wellness and Lifeguard Training

Being aware of your overall wellness and applying it to the responsibilities of the lifeguard, assists in addressing emergency situations. Students learn the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries, and sudden. Students must be at least 15 years old, and pass a pre-course test which will be administered on the first day of class. Upon successful completion of the Lifeguarding course students receive an American Red Cross certificate for Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED.
