Natural Sciences
For the purposes of fulfilling the General Education: Foundational Series Natural Science requirement or students seeking a Bachelor's degree, Presentation College considers the Natural Sciences to include the following:
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Nutrition
- Physics
- Astronomy
- Earth sciences
- Environmental science
Presentation College also applies the following Exercise Science courses toward the Natural Science requirement:
- EXSC 373: Exercise Physiology,
- EXSC 393: Kinesiology
- EXSC 403: Clinical Exercise Physiology
- EXSC 3082: Introduction to Biomechanics.
Fulfillment of the Natural Science requirement requires both a lecture course and a laboratory course; thus, a student taking a natural science course that does not include a laboratory component (e.g., EXSC 393) will still need to take a laboratory course to complete this requirement.
Natural Science does not include the various applied sciences.
